A couple of years ago, I refused to use any type of lipstick- I thought they were sticky and annoying (and don't get me started on that annoying stain that you leave everywhere...specially when eating/drinking. And they you have to re-touch it all the time.). However, I've become obsessed with trying out different lip colors- they really add that final touch to any outfit. They also add a fun pop of color when you are wearing neutrals or B&W outfits. They also give you a little bit of personality; I feel like people that wear red are daring, dark lipsticks make you mysterious, and pink lipsticks are fun/girly.

Hace unos años, me rehusaba a utilizar todo tipo de pintura de labios- se sentía como un pegoste en los labios (y ni hablar en pensar en las manchas de abuelita que uno deja en los vasos de vidrio). Pero hace más de dos años, durante la celebración del Año Nuevo, dije que iba a experimentar más con los labiales (y ese día me puse uno rojo para despedir el año). Y no me arrepiento....las pinturas de labios le dan como ese toque final a cualquier outfit. Por ejemplo, son la mejor opción cuando quieres darle un toque de color a un look neutral. También pueden transmitir "personalidad"- el rojo te hace ver atrevida, los oscuros más misteriosa, y los rosados divertida.
