As you might already know, I'm in NYC doing a required internship before graduation. I got here a little more than a week ago...and I have to admit, it has been .... lonely. In New York, even though it's a HUGE city, everyone is doing their own thing (and it's not like I know ton of people either). The internship has been....different than I thought it was going to be but I'm gaining as much knowledge as possible. It's a LOT of work and for a lot of hours...I'm exhausted at the end of the day. But it's an experience and I'm so grateful to be able to live it. I might go back to Miami earlier than expected , as soon as finish all the requirements....because I love Miami, and home is where the heart is (yes, Gabo, Chiki and my friends are waiting for me there). Last Sunday, I went to church with Flor from Flor de Maria Fashion. Then we went to brunch, took pictures, and had delicious crepes. The weather is getting better, but it was COLD and rainy that day. I cannot thank yo enough for your love and support :) XOXO

Como ya deben de saber, estoy en Nueva York haciendo mi pasantía. Llegué hace más de una semana, y les tengo que admitir que ha sido solitario. Nueva York, por más que sea una ciudad inmensa, cada quien está en lo suyo ( y tampoco es que conozca a mucha gente acá). La pasantía ha sido ruda: muchas más horas de lo que pensaba, y un poco más monótono de lo que pensé que iba a ser (pero estoy aprendiendo todo lo que puedo cada día). Es una experiencia diferente y estoy super agradecida de la oportunidad y de estar acá- probablemente regrese a Miami antes de tiempo porque siempre he dicho que hay que hacer lo que nos haga feliz (pero eso no significa que voy a dejar la pasantía a medias, voy a cumplir con todos los requisitos antes de regresar). El domingo pasado fui a misa con Flor de Flor de María Fashion- después fuimos a comer, tomamos fotos, y terminamos merendando crepes. La temperatura está mejorando, pero ese día estaba algo lluvioso y frío. Gracias por todo el apoyo que me han dado!! XOXO
